It amazes me, every time I see a woman wearing sheerish, nude pantyhose.

A lot of women, especially older women, have a crazy notion in their heads that nylon leg coverings in a shade that may or may not be similar to their actual skin tone looks better than their actual skin tone. What they obviously don't know is that wearing "nude 'hose" is like a real-life version of a bad Photoshop job. The intent may be to minimize flaws like bruises and blemishes, but the outcome just makes legs look like they've had a sloppy smudge done, with a crappy color enhancement on top.


Here are a few rules for wearing any kind of stockings:

1. Anything in undecorated flesh tone is out, unless you can afford custom made 'hose that actually match your skin tone. Exceptions: those with unusual and very cool decor
2. Wearing stockings of any color with sandals is disgusting
3. Wear colored stockings that complement your dress
4. Except for dressy events, wearing any kind of stocking in summertime is not necessary. 'Hose don't carry the"summertime fun feel, are hot, ugly, and should be banned.
5. Stockings in winter are recommended, unless you live in Brazil. It actually might look stupid to go bare-legged in cold climate winters, but again, no undecorated flesh tones!

So now that that's out of the way, happy winter time, non-nude 'hose shopping!
