Yayyy Go Green Baby! Check out our Garden Deco courtesy of Mother Earth. We had a really bad ice storm a few years ago which gave us more limb debris than we could possibly deal with here in Okie. :) I wanted a natural looking garden enclosure to keep my romping dogs from destroying my plants. I told my Step-Dad Richard about what I wanted and this is what he came up with for the design. The railing is made from recycled fence pickets that were being thrown away. We then decorated all the way around it with little squares of wood to make it a little more fancy. He also was able to create a Garden Gate with the initial of my new last name "R" with old willow branches. I think it is so awesome, if I do say so myself!

It is so easy to use Mother Earth's natural resources to create beautiful areas in your backyard! We used smooth river rocks for the border of the entry way to the garden. I think rocks like this are the gifts that keep on giving. They look great, they are easy to move if you want a new look, they weather nicely, and most of all they are practically indestructible by weather & the Woof-Woofs! :) We also have three trellises that were handmade out of natural branches that I will post soon. We have planted beans, morning glory's, and cucumbers on them & it looks beautiful! My husband and I are trying to do our part in green living. Many things can be recycled-restyled-reused for so many different things.
